We have the capability to perform thoracic and abdominal ultrasound exams in the field with our portable ultrasound machine. With this technology, we can visualize inside the chest and abdomen to look for signs of pneumonia, fluid, masses, and infections. We can also use it to diagnose some causes of colic and other gastrointestinal diseases, urinary and liver disease. Ultrasound is also used in evaluation of tendons and ligaments in the distal limbs, and for reproductive assessments.
